What Stakkr does

Stakkr scans CD barcodes on your device, looks up album information via the Discogs database, and adds albums to your Apple Music library. All of this happens on your device.

What we collect

Nothing. Stakkr does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information.

Third party services

Stakkr uses two external services to function:

Discogs — to identify albums from barcodes. Barcodes are sent to Discogs servers for lookup. Discogs privacy policy: discogs.com/privacy

Apple MusicKit — to add albums to your Apple Music library. This is handled entirely by Apple. Apple privacy policy: apple.com/privacy

Your music data

Stakkr accesses your Apple Music library only to add albums you have scanned and confirmed. It does not read, store, or share your existing library data.
